Wild Turkey Hunting
in Texas and Oklahoma
At BnC Red River Hunting we offer turkey hunting in
Jackson County, Oklahoma and also in Hardeman County, Texas. These two
counties are on the border of Texas & Oklahoma, adjacent to one
another. The land here is truly a turkey hunters paradise. Our Rio
Grande turkeys can weigh up to 30 pounds. Some of the birds have 12''
or larger beards. With little pressure, and a lot of country
(over 8000 acres combined), a hunter will be calling on some birds that have had little or no calling
pressure at all.
No turkey hunting is done during our deer
seasons. With food plots, water, and a lot of corn for our deer, these
Rio Turkeys are sometimes a problem for us do to the fact of their large
numbers. Even though there's nothing like seeing that big old long beard strut in during
the spring season.

Turkey hunting prices are
based on a set rate for each day, depending on if you need to be guided or
not. There are no minimum number of days that you can hunt
turkey with us. The country around here is a little bit of every thing from cotton wood bottoms,
to huge mesquite flats , to rolling (CRP) grass fields. You can
choose from guided one-on-one hunts or do it yourself and we'll take
you to the birds. The maximum amount of turkeys per hunter is 2.
One thing is for sure--you
will experience nothing but the best in turkey hunting
experience. Who knows, you might even find one of those huge
whitetail shed antlers along the way or a rattle snake or two.
